Bernice J. Vogias, 83 of Stow. Passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at her home, surrounded by family.
She was born July 20, 1928 in Cleveland, to Andrew and Anna (Shimko) Popadak.
She was a member of St. Patrick Church, First Catholic Slovak
Ladies Union, Twin Lakes Country Club, and Alumni of St. Therese Academy.
Bernice was a wonderful mother of five beautiful children; Emil (Debbie) Vogias Jr. of Mantua, David (Vivian) Vogias of Ft. Myers, FL, Christopher (Julie) Vogias of Tallahassee, FL; daughters, Cynthia Smith of Stow, Rebecca Vogias of Kent;
Six grandchildren and Two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years, Emil J. Vogias Sr.
Calling hours will be held 6-8 PM Friday, February 24th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home 628 West Main Street Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Saturday, February 25th at St. Patrick Church with Father Richard Pentello officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main Street, Akron, OH 44310.
