Thomas J. Crocker, 71, of Kent, passed away Monday morning, May 14th, at the Louis Stokes Veterans Medical Center in Cleveland.

Tom was born October 6, 1946 in Ravenna to Carl and Mary (Dawes) Crocker. He was a veteran of the US Navy where he served in the Vietnam War. While serving, Tom was extremely proud to be part of the Naval Construction Battalion, better known as the Seabees. He was a member of the American Legion as well as a Mason, Kent Chapter. He had a lifelong occupation of Truck Driving which included working at Portage Distributing, SD Meyers and Clean Harbors. Over the years Tom enjoyed playing softball, golf, and cards with his friends and family. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Whether that was watching his grandchildren's sporting events or hanging out at the river. Tom loved to be around his family.

He is survived by his wife, Judy (Swaney) Crocker, whom he married on March 27, 1982; sons, Kyle (Robin) Crocker of Ravenna, Tim (Nicole) Jones of Kent, and Willie Jones of Kent; grandchildren, Tyler, Rachael, Nathan, Nolan, Logan, Peyton, Taryn, and Oliver; brothers, Tim (Kathy) Crocker of Kent, Ted (Carolyn) Crocker of Kent, and Todd (Linda) Crocker of Kent; sister, Traci Biltz of Ravenna; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Terri Crocker, brother, Toby Crocker, and brother-in-law, Robert "Bo" Biltz.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 18th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. William Andrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-2PM.
