Tara L. Ailes, 43, of Ravenna Twp, died Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Akron City Hospital Medical Center in Akron.

She was born February 5, 1974 in Cuyahoga Falls, to Patrick H. and Peggy A. (Hinman) Ailes.

She had a compassionate and generous heart for those in their times of need, caring for the sick, serving others in the church and community. She had a way of loving deeper and harder than most are capable of and lighting up any room she entered. She loved family and cherished the time spent. She worked in the corporate world for over ten years, traveling the states, before leaving her position to come home and focus on her role as a mother and to work in the family business. Creative cooking was her passion and family and friends will greatly miss the gourmet meals that she prepared. Her big heart, kind eyes and radiant smile will never be forgotten. We are comforted by the knowledge that she is at peace in the arms of her Savior.

She is survived by daughter, Whitney Ailes of Akron; parents, Pat and Peggy Ailes of Kent; brother, Ryan (Anna) Ailes of Brimfield; sister, Shanna (Brad) Istnick of Kent; grandfather Henry "Pop Pop" Ailes of Kent; grandsons, Keagan Moody and Clayton Moody Jr.; nieces, Ryleigh Ailes, and Camryn Ailes; and nephew, Griffin Ailes. Tara was preceded in death by the love of her life Brian Giles in 2014.

Calling hours will be held 10-12 PM Saturday, March 4th at Riverwood Community Chapel. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Cole Tawney officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverwood Community Chapel Building Campaign, 1407 Fairchild Avenue, Kent, OH 44240.
