Shirley (nee Rosenow) Leiher, 68, of Ravenna, died Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Akron General Hospital in Akron.
She was born October 4, 1948 in Ravenna, to the late Dale Gus and Julia Helen (Pyke) Rosenow.
She loved animals, travelling, and family gatherings. She was an avid gardener; and enjoyed listening to country music/dancing.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Leiher, whom she was married for 49 years; daughters, Theresa (Brian) Palmer of Akron, Kimberly (Stephen) Thompson of Winston, GA; sister-in-law, Veronica (Edward) Stanley of Tallmadge; brother-in-law, Thomas Leiher of Kent; brothers, James (Cindy) Serafin of Ravenna; sisters, three sisters: Sandra (Jay) Dunlavy of Ravenna, Barbara (Dave) McElroy of Kent, Debra Griffith of Kent. She was preceded in death by stepfather, Henry Anthony Serafin by her brother-in-law, Timothy Leiher.
Calling hours will be held Saturday May 27th 3-6 PM at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home. Private funeral services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
