Ronald G. Miller, 84, of Kent, died Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at his home.

He was born January 4, 1933 in Kent to Ernest and Gladys (Eckert) Miller. Ronald retired grounds supervisor for Kent State University. He will be remembered by his family and neighbors for his beautiful gardens.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (Kurtz) Miller, whom he married on October 10, 1953; children, Shari (Brian) Jeffers of Kent, Randy Miller of Kent, Cindy (Jeff) Vair of Kent, Dennis Miller of Kent, and Lori (Jeff) Phillips of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Patrick Jeffers of Twinsburg, Alex Jeffers of Madison , WI, Jeremy Carter of Ravenna, Eric Ridenour of Palmyra, Jessica Miller of Kent, and April Carter of Akron; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Carroll (Chris) Miller of North Canton and Larry Miller of Kent; and sister, Nancy (Jean-Pierre) Talpain of Rocky River. He was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Miller.

Private services have been held.
