Robert Ciccone, 87, of Kent passed peacefully Saturday, September 30, 2017 at his home.

He was born, November 11, 1929 in Kent, to Luigi and Anna (Ubri) Ciccone. Robert was a 1948 Graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School and a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Kent, the Knights of Columbus, Kent American Legion, the VFW and the Kent Canadian Club. Robert loved horses, the morning Coffee Club and playing Euchre whenever possible. A devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, Robert loved to spend time with his family and all of his friends.

Robert owned and operated Ciccone's Fine Foods since 1954 to the present.

He is survived by his daughters, Robin Ciccone of Kent, Roberta Ciccone of Kent and Rochelle (Marty LaMancusa) Klein of Rootstown, Nicki (James Howe) Polichena of Rootstown and Vicki (Bob) Blackiston of Kent; grandchildren, Jesse Klein, Kloe McKee, Dylan Klein, Aaron Hill, Brad Parnaby and Erin Blackiston; partner, Wanda Lee of Kent; and son-in-law, Wayne Hill of Kent. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Margaret (Picelle), parents, Luigi and Anna Ciccone; brother, Albert Ciccone; sisters, Louise Spain and Genevieve Doty; nephew, Arnie Ciccone.

Calling hours will be held 6-8 PM Tuesday, October 3rd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent, where funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 4th. Burial will be at Standing Rock Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Patrick School Endowment Fund, 127 Portage Street, Kent, OH 44240 or the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
