Mary Lynn Morris Weaver, 52, of Rootstown, Ohio, died Monday, May 22, 2017, at Summa Health Medical Center in Akron. The world lost a beautiful soul, one of its brightest lights, and an angel on earth.

Mary was born July 10th, 1964 in Edmond, Oklahoma to Don Paul and Katherine (Odor) Morris.

Mary was the youngest child in a very musical family. Mary's music was a focal point throughout her life and touched many of those who knew her. She loved animals and would often befriend injured or abandoned small creatures. A breast cancer survivor and an individual who suffered many personal tragedies, Mary used her experiences to help others. She touched the lives of many youth and those fighting cancer in her community, counseling them and guiding them through difficult times. Mary was an advocate for the youth by lobbying for their needs in the community. She was always raising the spirits of those around her, reaching out to the down trodden and anyone who needed help and compassion.

Mary was so much more than the tragic turns in her life. She was kind when others were not, and gave so much, never asking anything in return. Dance free, and healthily and joyfully in heaven. Until we meet again.

Mary is survived by her mother, Katherine (Joseph) Ripley of Rootstown, father, Don Paul (Cynthia) Morris of Akron, sisters and brother, Julie Kay (Kenneth's) Stewart of Zebulon, NC, Donald Robert (Diane) Morris of Punta Gorda, FL, Cindy Susan (Jim) Morris-Firak of North Ridgeville, OH, many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.

"A Celebration of Mary's Life" will be held at 11:00am Saturday, May 27th, 2017, at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00am at Bissler & Sons. A private interment will be held at a later date at Grandview Memorial Park.

Donations may be made as a memorial in Mary's name to Centre County PAWS, 1401 Trout Rd, State College, PA 16801.
