Jean (Greer) Sisson, 89, of Kent, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Arbors At Streetsboro.

She was born May 23, 1928 in Kent, at the Jadots Maternity Home, to Redmond and Ruth (Gibson) Greer. She was the longest serving member of the United Church of Christ of Kent. Jean was a member of Ravenna Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Coterie I, and her monthly Bridge Club.

She is survived by daughter, Carol Jean Manges of Kent; son, Michael Edwin Sisson of Kent; grandchildren, Amy, Rob, Christina, Taylor, Alea, and Lawrence; four great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bruce Hansford of Kent; caregiver and cousin, Dottie (Tom) Emerick of Kent; niece, Susan Hansford of Kent; and nephew, David (Kay) Hansford of Kent. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Larry" Sisson; son, Eric Redmond Sisson; and sister, Nancy Hansford.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, March 2nd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Order of the Eastern Star Services will be held at 5:45 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 3rd at the Kent United Church of Christ with Rev. Amy Gopp officiating. As per Jean's request her body was donated to NEOMED.
