Karen L. Geist, 68, of Kent, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at her home.

She was born May 21, 1946 in Akron to Alex Joseph and Ann V. (Slama) Pudloski. Karen graduated from KSU with a degree in Computer Science. Karen retired in 2005 from Windstream (Alltel).

She is survived by son, Michael (Beth) Geist of Streetsboro; grandsons, Alexander, Anthony, and Jacob; brother, James A. (Pat) Pudloski of Cuyahoga Falls; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Pudloski of Vermillion; nieces and nephews, Julie, Tim, Jason, Greg, and Jill. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Thomas.

Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday, March 31st at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 1st at St. Patrick Church with Fr. Thomas Bishop and Father Richard Pentello officiating. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
