Joseph J Henry, 68, of Kent, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 9th, 2017, at University Hospital in Cleveland.

He was born January 12, 1949 in Toledo, to John E and Irene (Fournier) Henry. He was a veteran of the Army during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda Darlene (nee Lietke) Henry; sons, Jay (Julee) Henry of Kent, Mark (Ashley) Henry of Charleston, SC; daughter, Cindy (Rusty) Hinkle of Alliance; grandsons, Tyler, Justin; granddaughter, Natalie; grandsons, Jakob, Owen, Benny; granddaughter, Leah; grandsons, Chandler, Davis; brother, John (Marianne) Henry of Kent; sisters, Virginia Maruschak of Stow, Jeanne (Joel) Smith of Cuyahoga Falls, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Leo.

Calling hours will be held 5-8 PM Wednesday, April 12th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 13 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor John Henry officiating. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
