George Earl Kiefer, 65, of Kent, died Saturday, December 16, 2017, at his home.

He was born September 24, 1952 in Cuyahoga Falls to Roy and Myrtle (Wright) Kiefer.

George was a life-long car enthusiast and Ride and Handling Tire Evaluation Specialist. He was the number one contract driver worldwide. George began his career at General Tire after graduating from Cuyahoga Falls High School. He retired from Continental Tire in 2002 after 30 years in the business.

George began a post career with Maxxis International in 2007 as a contractor and continued until his death.

He is survived by his wife, LuAnne (Fullum) Kiefer; stepdaughter, Megan (Scott) Weidner of St. Louis, MO; and grandchildren, Jackson, Aida, and Vivien Weidner along with a multitude of friends.

A celebration of George's life will be Saturday, January 13th from 1-3 pm at the Cashmere Cricket in Cuyahoga Falls. For all of us who knew and loved George, he will always be in our hearts. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
