Ethel Mae Cook, 92, of Kent, died Saturday, May 19, 2018, at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna.

She was born March 4, 1926 in Kent to William A. and Mae (Poulton) Manfrass. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, St. Michael's Circle; and the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild. She had worked at St. Patrick School and Kent State University.

She is survived by son, James (Deborah) Cook of Kent; daughters, Diane (Richard) Nance of Rome, GA and Donna (Kirk) Palmerton of Kent; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, who died in 1996; brother, William Manfrass, Jr.; and sisters, June Owen and Velma Curran.

Private memorial services have been held. Private burial was at Standing Rock Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church Memorial Fund or St. Patrick's School Endowment Fund.
