Elveda Honeck, 94, of Hartville, died Friday, December 29, 2017, at Akron General Hospital in Akron.

She was born February 6, 1923 in Ravenna, to Marcello Anthony and Jenny (Firienzo) Amaru. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna.

She is survived by her sons, Charles (Gale) Honeck of Kent and Richard (Ada) Honeck of Uniontown; daughter, Lily Amaru of Mentone, CA; grandsons, Kristopher Honeck, Kurt (Stephanie) Schmitt, Michael Honeck, Steven (Olivia) Honeck, Joseph Honeck and David Honeck; granddaughter, Beverly Hohman; great grandchildren, Sadie and Peyton Honeck, Philipp and Matthew Hohman, Sierra, Kobie and Branson Schmitt; great great grandsons, Brogan and Bently Hohman. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Timothy Honeck in 2014, sisters, Adeline Kiem and Eva Rosian.

Family will receive family and friends one hour prior to Funeral Mass which will be held 10 AM Friday, January 5 at Immaculate Conception with Fr. William B. Kraynak officiating. Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements.
