On December 20th Colleen Mae Werstler 31, was called home to our Lord after battling complications from a heart infection. She was a beloved daughter, sister, neice and friend.
Born in Akron in 1985, Colleen attended Field High School, graduating in 2003. She had an infectious smile that could light up any room and always made everyone laugh with her fantastic sense of humor. Colleen loved all animals, especially cats and they loved her as well. She was a devout Christian and was very proud of her faith. Colleen enjoyed attending church services, bible studies and participating in programs for the less fortunate. She had hoped to become a missionary to further help those in need.
Colleen is survived by her parents, Richard and Barbara (Cotten) Werstler and her sister Natalie(Werstler) Pipes.
A memorial service for Colleen will be held at 11am Tuesday December 27th at Kent United Church of Christ 1400 E.Main St Kent OH 44240
