I first met Annette and her parents in 1978 when I was employed by the Portage County Board of DD. My wife, Barbara assisted Annette during the years she attended Happy Day School. We both remember the smiles and also the hardship of living with severe disability. Annette was so loved by her parents and siblings, Annette and her family are an inspiration for all whose lives were touched.

Bless her little heart. I had a brother with downs syndrome who died in 1975 from the school van accident. They sure are a joy. I call them God's Chosen. Condolences to the family.
